NIMS provides multiple opportunities to learn and connect!
Discovery Days
are the highlight of the NIMS calendar. For more than 3 days, all NIMSies meet in one city, participate in company workshops and company visits, network with students from other universities and have an incredible time. In 2024, the Discovery Days took place in Bergen, where we explored the Norwegian startup scene, visited incubators like Startuplab and VIS, participated in case studies and startup pitches, and attended innovative lectures. Discovery Days are usually held in the spring and we set up a task force with members from each chapter to plan and organise the conference several months in advance. In 2025, Discovery Days will be held in Warsaw at the end of April.
Spring Programm
A unique one-week internship programme that gives students a deep insight into the workings of partner companies. The main idea is to connect companies with high potentials and students with amazing companies in their respective cities. As the whole programme lasts just one week, each company has been able to integrate its interns in a different way: while some have worked on current business challenges and case studies, others have been able to gain diverse insights into different departments through small internships. The spring programme was first introduced in Vienna in 2018 and usually takes place in February due to the semester break, but the timing depends on the respective holidays of each university. The long-term vision would be to hold the Spring Programme in several NIMS cities, giving NIMSies the opportunity to get an insight into different companies across Europe.In 2025, the Spring Programme will take place in Vienna from 17 to 21 February.
NIMS Chats
Events aimed at bringing together interested students (from all chapters) and high potentials to discuss, learn and build thriving relationships. From workshops with various corporate & institutional partners to general skill-sharing sessions with experts from various fields, we seek to foster collaboration between chapters and engage in innovative discussions that help us to further educate ourselves as future leaders.
